Randwick Council proposes to charge for BEACH PARKING at Coogee, Clovelly, Maroubra, Malabar, Little Bay and La Perouse. We can see their point. The beaches are crowded and demand maintenance. But parking at Bondi is already $11.60 an hour. The remaining beaches offer an affordable alternative for less wealthy families - who must already travel to get there. So does charging visitors make things fairer? Or less fair?
