William Smart has designed some of Sydney’s most remarkable recent buildings, including Indigo Slam, Judith Neilson’s grand, curvaceous “habitable sculpture” in Chippendale, and Bundarra in Surry Hills. Would these amazing designs be possible without hand drawing, by hand, on paper?
