Save Manly Vale Dam Bushland has been campaigning to preserve 3.65 hectares of native bush that’s due to bulldozed to make way for an expansion of the Manly Vale Public School. Despite fierce protests and opposition, the land clearing began on Wednesday. Ruth Hessey spoke to Julia Walsh from Save Manly Vale Dam Bushland on Monday, just days before clearing began.
