Every Wednesday night for over 20 years, there’s been a French show on Eastside Radio. All about music from French-speaking countries, Forever French plays tracks from Belgium, Switzerland, Africa, The French Caribbean, Quebec, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Madagascar and Reunion Island. As the presenters regularly travel to France, they choose the best chansons – thus presenting a program that is current, interesting and always enjoyable.Forever French was started by Gabrielle Haumesser and Sandrine Charruyer as a music program in 2000 and, since then, the team has grown with talented presenters.In France, in a previous life, Gabrielle Haumesser produced a program for French Public Radio focusing on music, travel and African projects as well as running a nightclub promoting interesting new artists.Emmanuelle Revelut joined the team in 2011 co presenting the show and organising interviews and PR. Originally from Paris, she enjoyed the variety of music genres that were all around her and loves to share these with her audience. Whilst she always loves a good classic French hit, she also makes a point to play and support new talents.Madame Rêve - alias Laura Cadeddu - is a French Dj born in Paris in 1988 and grew up in Paris in an artistic family. Throughout her life she was always surrounded by musicians, performer artists / comedians and other creative people. She knows how to pleased to sweetest side of your heart by sprinkling some magical sounds from the chillest French Music to the biggest 80’s hit. She’ll bring you good dreams and a solid boogie!Adrien Chrunyk is a father of 2, a Baker and a music lover. Listening to music in the middle of the night in His Surry Hills Bakery became a nightly routine. He is always curious about new sounds and love to share new discoveries. As a former sound engineer in Paris, Adrien enjoy the atmosphere of studios and is very happy to be back in that game being part of the Forever French team.Rémi Marchand fell in love with Sydney’s music scene when he arrived from France in 2016. He is a guitarist and plays in the intercultural psychedelic jazz band Cone of Confusion. Rémi also runs PsyconFest Records, an independent music label which focuses on experimental and improvised Australian music and operates as a series of musical events.Want more French music and news?
