Hailing from Slovakia, and now Bondi resident, Pavlina Kovacova (aka Patchu Art) was inspired for her Bondi Sea Wall mural by old photos of bathing beauties on long boards with retro swimwear and hairdos.
She also illustrates children’s books and is creating one of her own about a little starfish. Her other artistic pursuits include animation and making celebratory cards and stickers.
