As once more Shai and Geoff settle round the golden microphone to dissect the Big Issues, a city is hushed. Yes, all that post-lockdown partying, all that mad socialising, cocktail swilling and beachy hedonism stops dead, as a city collectively wonders – what are the boys up to!? Without wanting to let the cat too far out of the bag we can reveal that Shai goes where few would dare by bravely interviewing his boss, Gary Groves. Gary is the CEO of Jewishcare, where Shai (allegedly) works, and he is this week’s Special Guest on Breaking Waves. How will Gary react to revelations that Shai (unbeknownst to Gary) has on occasion been late for work?! Gary’s a nice empathetic bloke who heads a major community care organisation, but how far will his empathy stretch at revelations that Shai has been seen kissing his girlfriend Antonia at work? By the photocopier!? And more than once! This is a high-wire episode of tension and revelation as Shai and Geoff push human interest to the limit in the name of art, and just-a-little-too-much-information.
